I'm a sucker for a footstool

Footstools…………benches…………..ottomans…………….
I'm always finding these little
diamonds in the rough at thrift stores,
consignment shops, alleyways.
Here are some before/afters……
for your Thursday viewing pleasure.
So put up your feet,
and away we go!
Trash to treasure:
Found tripod legs on the street...
Particleboard tabletop from my garage...
Then upholstered in a chenille with long bullion fringe.
Finished off with random vintage  buttons……..
and a cat.
Purchased old bench and rug from Girlfriends Antiques & Home Decor Sale.
(which by the way is coming up again June 7/8th)
One of my favorites!
Great lines on this empire styled seat.
Old corduroy and ugly wood finish tho….
 Painted,
distressed and waxed...
 …and reupholstered.
Perfect for a french boudoir..
 Random stool
Painted, then recovered in a jute printed rug...
With fleur de lis motif and chunky pewter nailheads.
 Two U G L Y vinyl 70's stools….
Recovered in a printed cotton rug.
Santa Fe anyone?
Piano bench picked up at a thrift store…...
Painted and plumply reupholstered in this flowery fabric!
Similar but a very short one.
(Look at Wilma kookoo kitty!)
 Painted…...
And recovered in a luscious ikat.
 Small tripod piano stool...
Flower power!
Last remnant of the flower fabric fits perfectly on this!!
 Another trash item…...
 Spraypainted turquoise..
 Plywood top...
Upholstered and tufted, then trimmed with pompom fringe.
Perfect for my client, Nancy's, porch.
 Cute little table on casters…..
 …with some foam...
And upholstered in grain sack fabric…
becomes a rolling seat for an industrial desk.
 Ugly vinyl mancave ottoman...
 Painted in chalkpaint.
This set now lives in a beach house on the Eastern Shore.
 Another thrift store stool...
 Painted….starred...
and upholstered in an old burlap peanut sack
from Lone Star Steakhouse.
A client's little barkcloth stool...
 gets a new custom-made slipcover...
 Yard sale item...
 …Painted and waxed...
 Becomes a sweet little ottoman
with a pillow and store-bought sham...
Ugly brown tufted thrift store ottoman..
 Happy aqua Easter Egg!
And finally, a lazy susan table top I disassembled,
casters added...
And covered in this elegant print…

Who knows what I will find out there today!
